This year will be the first year in a while that Matt and I have no huge plans, the most exciting thing we have this year is a holiday to Florida in June (I'm a tad excited about that). It's so nice not to have plans. I'm looking forward to pottering around, making our house look lovely and generally being happy and quite content.
Holidaying in glamorous West Wales in March |
I want to start on the road to getting fit. I am most definitely not fit as I now realise thanks to living in a three story townhouse. Hopefully in getting fit I'll tone up and maintain my weight, not that I know how much I weigh (I don't think it's healthy to keep weighing myself). I want to be able to get into some of my old summer clothes that this summer I just couldn't fit into (cue crying fit before work).
This year I'm determined to find the perfect skin care regime. I'm currently using Clinique's three step with the addition of their Take the Day Off Balm as well as the prescribed Duac cream and my skin seems to be improving.

I would like to see more of my friends this year. Now that we have our own place hopefully we'll see more of them.
I want to try and use my cookery books as much as possible. I had eight of them this Christmas on top of the truck load I already have but don't use I need to make them worthwhile.
My darling friend Lina, she got hitched in June and I was privileged to take her to her wedding |
I would like to blog more! I only blogged NINE times in 2012, very poor form. It's not that I don't have ideas and things I want to write about, it's just getting home and sitting in front of the TV is more appealing most of the times. I'd like to change that.
Birthday surprises from my friends at work |
Hopefully this will mean I'll drink less tea. I drink far too much, especially at work. Maybe I'll even try and get my green tea grove back.
I'm going to try and limit my chocolate intake to one or two days a week. Hopefully only one. I'm going to need lots of luck to achieve that one.
I want to try and keep on top of the housework. Such a terribly mundane resolution I realise but I'm awful at keeping on top of the house.
I will get my hair cut more than once or twice a year. My hair will have some sort of style.
It would be super if I used some of the things I've pinned on Pinterest. I have so many ideas for our house that I want to implement.
They sound like good resolutions... I'm terrible at keeping the house clean, I always assumed I'd become clean and tidy as I got older, but it hasn't happened so far! Happy new year xx
