Got Beef

Last Saturday, ahead of watching the last Game of Thrones episode (Nat's first time, my second) we headed off to Got Beef for the only thing that felt right: a burger.

Following their success during the pop up stint at The Canadian the guys from Got Beef have set up their own restaurant in the Heath area of Cardiff. They specialise in burgers with a twist, this isn't where you're going to find a regular cheese burger. Got Beef is home to burgers such as The Welsh Black, Heinsenburger and the Uni.

After much pondering I ordered the Soprano and wasn't left disappointed. As well as the 6oz patty you have crispy bacon, chorizo, monterey jack cheese and jalapeno mayonnaise. Nat ordered the Heisenburger, which I was jealous of as it sounds amazing but no matter how much I try I just don't like blue cheese. This comes with blue drunken onions, crispy bacon and blue cheese.

I was this close to ordering dirty fries but was swayed to the sweet potato fries, because, well...sweet potato fries! Nat ordered the onion rings, which were huge and although I didn't have any they looked good and Nat seemed to enjoy them.

Nat taking a photo of me taking a photo of her. We're such cool kids.
A little known fact about me is that I really struggle to finish burgers, the mix of the meat and lots of bread (which I don't/can't eat that often) usually leave me stuffed after half a burger. On Saturday, however, I managed it. The Soprano was too good to waste.

  1. OMG looks delicious :D

  2. Yummy looks lovely and it would be gone in seconds if I was reviewing this so quick there would be no pics Lucy x

    1. Haha, I did have to control myself when it arrived. Took a few photos and then went to town. x
