Whilst in Zakynthos Nat started what was to become our 'thing' on the holiday: #cherylsviews

It started off without me knowing she was taking a photograph of me looking at a view and developed into me following her orders to look a certain way and then posting them to Instagram. Here are my views from Zakynthos.

Zakynthos

Back at the end of September I jetted off to Zakynthos in Greece with my best girl Nat. We had a week of relaxing, sightseeing and being surrounded by more Russians than you could shake a stick at. It was the perfect week, and it has ignited the travel bug in me. 

We went loggerhead turtle spotting with Nefis Travel (I can highly recommend them) 

 

The photos don't do it justice, it was probably the most beautiful place I've visited. The locals were very friendly, the tour group we went on three trips with were fantastic, the sea was so many different shades of blue. I loved it. Greece, I'm coming back for more.

Pinterest inspiration: Halloween

I never used to be that fussed on Halloween when I was growing up, I was never interested in trick or treating around the neighbourhood or going to costume parties. However, in the last couple of years I've become more interested in it. Maybe it coincided with me owning my own home and wanting to decorate it for the time of year. Now I love putting pumpkins out by the front door, buying sweets for kids who are trick or treating, baking cupcakes and dressing up.

Pinterest inspiration: Dinner

I love food. I enjoy the process of cooking dinner from scratch as well as going out to restaurants, I have numerous cookery books that I've never used but that doesn't stop me buying them. I use Pinterest a lot when trying to find new things to cook, it's an excellent resource for discovering different food. I thought I'd share some of my favourite pins from my food board.
